Serving Charles Lindbergh
On June 9, 1931, a process server served Col. Charles Lindbergh. Mr. and Mrs. Lindbergh were in the cockpits of their Plane when the process server 
jumped up on the plane and handed Mr. Lindbergh the Court papers. The Colonel grinned and put the papers in his pocket. When the process server jumped to the ground he was promptly punch in the mouth by a mechanic.
The summons was due to the failure to pay for news paper clippings sent to Mr. Lindbergh from his Trans Atlantic flight.
