While serving an eviction in Independence Missouri, a process server was shot and killed by the person he was there to serve. It was after 1pm a process server approached the residence and was shot while attempting service on a resident. Police swarmed the area. Ambulance personal were unable to revive the gentleman process server. One police officer responding to the call was also shot and killed. Two other police officers where also shot but will live as their injuries are not life threatening.
