Point a gun at a process server = 6 months in prison
A Racine Wisconsin Man quickly found out that you can not just point a gun at someone at your front door. Tyrone Williams said he noticed a person who was peering into his windows and banging at his front door at 7 Am on a Sunday. Mr. Williams felt threatened for his family, so he grabbed his firearm. Williams is a concealed carry weapon permit holder and his gun is licensed and legal. Mr. Williams slid the gun slide back and said “Can i help you.” The process server threw his hands up and dropped the papers. The process server decided to press charges against Mr. Williams, claiming Mr. Williams pointed the weapon at him. Mr. Williams denies the accusations and does not know how he is being prosecuted and having to spend 6 months in prison for someone saying i did something. Mr. Williams claims he is being falsely accused of pointing the weapon at Mr. Williams.
Mr. Williams did not testify at his trial and received 6 months in prison for his actions.
Let this serve as a reminder that not everyone at your door is deviant. Don’t shoot the messenger.
